Viking Golf Tournament
When: Saturday May 21, and Sunday May 22 18 holes each day.
Where: Mill Creek Country Club (828) 524-GOLF
Format: 2 person “Captains Choice” Saturday & “Best Ball” Sunday
Field: Teams will be pre-flighted into 4-6 flights. Field will be limited to the first 50 teams. Tee times will begin at 8:00 am.
Cost: $160.00 per player ($320.00/team) This cost will cover two days of golf, dinner service on Friday night, 2 drink tickets each day, tournament participation gift, entry for door prizes, and free Greens Fee for Friday May 20.
Prizes: There will be CASH prizes for the top 3 places in each flight. 1st place team in each flight will receive $700.00, 2nd place team in each flight will receive $350.00 and 3rd place in each flight will receive $150.00. In total, the cash payout will be $6,000.00+ based on a full field. Plus there will be prizes for long drive, closest to the pin on each par 3, a putting contest and Shootout qualifying during the tournament. On hole #6, there will be $ 10,000 cash given away for a hole in one both days.
Calcutta: There will be a Calcutta on Friday Night after the practice round. All teams will have first opportunity to purchase their own team on Friday. On Saturday, if your team has been purchased by another party, you may buy 1/2 of your team back from whomever purchased it.
Practice round: May 20, paid entry participants will be allowed to play for cart fee. Please make a tee time @ Mill Creek 828-524-GOLF.
